Description:

Discover the magic behind brewing and the ways in which our taste buds and noses (yes, noses) process these sudsy delights with scientists from Monell and the Brewers from Yards. While you’re here, quaff a pint of the specially-brewed Science Festival Beer.

We have three components to this event.

There will be special tutored session with experts from the Monell Center in Philadelphia on sensory analysis.

Yards brewers will be conducting a special demonstration on the science and process of how beer is made.

Tom Kehoe will be conducting an informal meeting on how the science of beer ingredients and offer up some knowledge on his history in the brewing world.

Each component will have different start times, so guests will be able to rotate around and participate in each function.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample Yards beers and try our new colloboration beer that we have made special for the PSF. All beers will be priced at $3. Light fare will be available.

Restrictions:

Must be 21 to enter.
